HDCVI: The front end is uncompressed, resulting in a large amount of data on the back end. Although the original part of the analog transmission cable can be used for image transmission, the front end, the optical transceiver, and the back end need to be replaced. At the same time, the effective transmission distance of HDCVI is about 400 meters, and the transmission signal of 400 meters or more is seriously attenuated. At present, there is no device for providing signal amplification, so the solution of transmitting more than 400 meters cannot be realized, and the expansion is general, and the intelligent analysis function cannot be integrated. It can be seen that the overall cost of HDCVI is much more expensive than IPC, which directly leads to far less profit than IPC projects.
